chateau d'armailhac door a 1956, 1974, the name of chateau mouton baron philippe,and from 1975 to 1988,mouton baronne philippe. created in the 18th century by the family of d'armailhac (or d'armailhac), this fifth cru class in 1855 under the name of chateau sheep of d'armailhacq,found,in part,its original identity.
neighbour of chateau mouton rothschild, it is yet distinct, both by its vineyards as by its wineries and its cuvier. this excellent thought possee so his own personality that will be fully recognized now.
mouton baronne philippe has d'armailhac,the name has changed but a new label is perpetuent the complexity and richness of a great pauillac.
