this wine is made from pineau d'aunis grapes. some vines are from my great grandfather. these parcels were planted just after the disease called "phyloxera" in 1890. the yields are low.
the aromas remind you of black paper. this wine give a bold structure, and some freshness in your mouth. this wine needs some time to decant. it may be appreciated with a spicy food, or a duck confit, even n.y steak.12.8 %
