this is our best tannat of the 2005 harvest, which comes from a parcel of land next to our winery. the main characteristic of this parcel is that it has a soil with good drainage and canals that allow the fruit to be close to the soil. using our careful process of elaboration, which is characteristic of bodega bouza, we developed a well-structured wine that has hints of ripe fruits and spices and balanced tannins. aged for 15 months in new french oak barrels, was bottled in august 2006. unfiltered. decant and serve at
18°c.
we individually elaborate the wine of each parcel in our boutique winery (winemaking by parcel). this procedure allows us to discover and to maintain the parcel"s special characteristics; as such, we can determine the best handling and winemaking methods for each harvest.13.8 %
