translation: a strong history that dates back to 1330 where it was only a strengthened keep, the name chateau giscours was a name associated with wine as early as 1552 before knowing a world-wide fame by the classification in 1855. situated on the one of the large terroirs of the appellation margaux, the vineyard of giscours today spreads itself on 82 hectares of vines composed of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 32% merlot, 5% frank cabernet and 3% petit verdot. perfect reflection of the terroir, the wine of giscours expresses the fineness and elegance of the grand crus of margaux.
