(front) at bodegas san rafael we discovered that in ojos negros valley, located at 38km east of ensenada and at a height of 820m, the extreme temperatures and purity of water give a unique character to the grapes. this gives our wines singular aromas and delicate tasting notes. passion 2006. 60% cabernet sauvignon, 17% merlot, 20% cabernet franc, 3% petit verdot. passion is the best of our harvest. red wine with deep and brilliant color, intense aromas of cherrices, licorice and raspberry. the aging is for 18 months in french and american oak barrels, giving light buttery and caramel notes, with complexity and character. in mouth, there is harmony between acidity, sugar and astringency, soft to the palate but strong structure and elegant. excellent to enjoy meats, aged cheeses and chocolate desserts.
