in century xvii, jesuit friars founded the mother of all missions from the alta and baja california, "our senora de loreto", bringing with them the culture of growing grapes and winemaking. at their arrival to the zone, they found native people with unique cave paintings. the name of californio is in honor of those men that "by the grace of god" and an intense effort brought to this noble lands culture, and also for those primitive habitants that left life testimony and spirit in their art reflected on rocks. red wine, blend of tempranillo and cabernet sauvignon, fruit of baja california valleys, the typical characteristic of the tempranillo enhance pairing with cabernet sauvignon, resulting a fine wine, elegant with excellent aromas. aged in french oak barrels for 18 months.
