château de malromé used to be the family residence of ministers of napoleon the third and the well-known painter henri de toulouse-lautrec, who ended his days in the property in 1901.
malromé"s vineyard exploited for at least 5 centuries, is one of the older vineyard of the active bordelais. it is fortunated in having an ideal "terroir" with a clay-gravel soll.
we cultivate our vines by combining production of quality i.e.(internal excitation) respect of the environment and the soil, by means of the care and attention we bring to the vines, such as disbudding, double stripping, putting under grass and work of the ground.
the adele is the best selection of the property. it is produced from grapes selected on the best pieces of the field, resulting from poor yield. it owes its name to adele tapie celeyran, countess of toulouse-lautrec and mother of the painter, who managed the field of 1883 has 1930.
