Pauillac

France

2010

750 milliliters

chateau d'armailhac had, from 1956 to 1974, the name of chateau mouton baron philippe, then from 1975 to 1988, the name mouton baronne philippe. created by the eighteenth century family armailhacq, this fifth cru classe in 1855 under the name of chateau mouton armailhacq, and found for one hand, its neighbor of chateau mouton rothschild, but it is well distinct as well by its vineyards, winery and his chais. this excellent cru obtains that way its own personality that will now be fully recognized.
from mouton barone philippe to armailhac the name has changed but in a new label, perpetuating the complexity and richness of a great pauillac.
