deep purple color. a nose very open and strong. it shows generous hints of red and black berries (raspberries and blackberries) married with aromas of licorice. on the palate full bodied with an elegant finish. a beautiful harmony for this wine that can be enjoyed now and can be aged for 7 to 10 years. goes well with tender meats (leg of lamb) on the grill or with sauces. also to be enjoyed with a selection of cheeses.
