brand label translation:bathed by the sweetness of the nearby dordogne, protected by the urban site in which it is installed, the very ancient roman domaine of quinault benefits from a particularly benevolent microclimate. on it's warm gravel soils which induce a remarkable maturation of the grapes, the old vineyard is judiciously planted with 70% merlot, 20% cabernet franc, 5% cabernet sauvignon and 5% malbec, which gives to this growth at the same time its roundness, its delicacy and it's backbone. an extremely detailed traditional vinification draws the best from this exceptional site, expressing a unique combination of finesse and body, in the style of the greatest wines. raynaud on quinault bk2 is the proprietaires.
