Solid Italian table wine, dark berry fruit and not unidimensional, well-balanced tannins, pleasant nose, medium finish. Complimented dark meat roast chicken, would work well with pastas, burgers, pizza. For $9, I enjoyed it far more than most Napa/Sonoma young red blends. Will be buying it again!
