pecol ros la santissima is a blended wine obtained by minifying hand-harvested red grapes. form the native friulian varieties. the vineyard stretches over the terraced, well-aspected slopes of the pecol hill, where viticulture was already documented in napoleon"s land registry. nearby it the santissima trinita cotive church, dedication to the holy trinity, which was rebuilt in 1741 after the neighboring river, one of the most ancient in europe, burst its banks. in the past, the site was the destination for long processions of believers from the mountains who came to pray for rain in times of drought.the wine shows aromas of forest fruit with structured flavors and pleasantly soft
