monbousquet blanc is a small madness of our wine grower. in 1995 on a small parcel situated south of the chateau we planted 2 white grapes in a region the world believe is only for red grapes! sauvignon blanc and sauvignon gris were planted and when they reached the optimum maturity they were picked by hand. after a soft pressing the juice is fermented in new oak barrels. the new wine in the barrel benefits from the contact and regular stirring with the lies during its 8 months of aging in the barrel. monbousquest blanc is bottled without any filtration to preserve all the aromatic expressions of the fruit and win's richness. in 2009 our small madness produced 4,000 bottles that we are happy to share with our friends and lovers of wine.
