carinae (latin: from carina). carina is one of the most stunning constellations in the southern sky, situated in the milky way, is comprised of a multitude of stars. carina looks down upon our vineyard every night during harvest.
this wine was crafted from a meticulous selection of old vine malbec grapes from our high altitude vineyard in perdiel and matured for 13 months in new french oak barrels.
the result ia a richly fruity wine of structure and elegance. only 3211 bottles produced. winemaking consultant michel rolland and his team bring years of experince in crafting wines of complexity and elegance to the wines of carinae.14.5 %
