i fabbri chianti classico riserva is made in small quantities from carefully hand selected grapes, and only when vintages are great, since the 1600's. the vineyards, on centuries old terraces, are located 1700 feet from sea level in the lamole hills. the wine is aged for 18 months in french oak barrels, and bottle-refined for almost 10 months before release. with typical aromas of purple violets and red berries, this elegant wine has great structure and beautiful complexity. best if served at a temperature between 60f to 68f; ideal with red meats and hard cheeses.13.5 %
