hubert de bouard de laforest is an anologist; co-owner of chateau angelus first classified growth in saint emilion. with his wife, they bought la fleur de bouard in 1998. the wines derive from great "graves" soils which extend the plateau of pomerol and have a deep color, intense fruit character and velvety tannins.
variety: merlot 85%, cabernet franc 10%, cabernet sauvignon 5%
ageing: 20 months in new barrels.14.0 %
