on the brand label: this is a small 7 hectare vineyard, with traditional bordeux grapevines, that is comprised of 30 years old vines with 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc. the wine benefits from all cares with a traditional and integrated culture: thinning out of the leaves, green harvest, " and picking of the grapes at full maturity, parcel per parcel in small crates after selection by double sorting, manual punching of the caps and vinification in small thermo-regulated vats. the ch. le bon pasteur of the rolland family is full bodied with a perfect balance of fruit on the finish.
