xipella is a sub-dialect spoken in a small area between conca de barberà and segarra. one of the peculiarities of this dialect is the tendency to transform neutral "e" into "i".the xipella dialect is also an unusually rich form of catalan, given that due to the geographical area where it is spoken, it combines elements from the north-west and central variations of the language. means: speaking xipella is apperception of land impregned of a beautifull an imaginary border who unite the past, present and future from the gaudi"s great origin. (antoni gaudí i cornet was the greatest figure of the art nouveau movement in catalonia known as "modernisme". his works are famous all over the world.)
