this wine is produced from the mazzurega vineyard, located at an altitude of around 460 metres, and is an expression of the fumane valley. the vineyard is cultivated on the pergola system and faces southeast, with medium textured soil overlying chalk bedrock. the significant daily temperature variation between day and night has produced an amarone with a complex bouquet, showing distinctive notes of tobacco and leather, while flavours of spice and black fruit highlight the full expression of tannins that give structure and longevity.
