this wine is carefully vinified by philippe dourthe, graduate oenologist and owner with his three children, of this beautiful vineyard of 72 hectares, located in the heart of médoc, next to bordeaux. harvesting is carried out in a serie of 3 successive and rigorous "tries"/pickings/ in order to select only the ripest, most "rotten" fruit.
then, in keeping with the finest tradition of bordeaux for all the grands crus (classified growths), our wines are aged in oak new barrels for 18 months (50 to 70% depending on the vintage). grape varieties: cabernet sauvignon 52%,merlot 41% & petit verdot 7%. we would be very pleased to welcome you to the chateau for an exceptional visit.
