translation of french text on the back label: very old property of the medoc located in the heart of a village which wines were classified as "1st growth" in 1740 for its exceptional soil of gravels on the side of the gironde river. this estate of 27 hectares, for which some of its vine plants are about 60 years old, is composed of 45% cabernet sauvignon, 45% merlot, 6% petot verdot and 4% of cabernet franc. in the respect of nature and traditions, the wines have been vinified by the tereygeol family for 4 generations
