the mix of fine gravel and multi colored clays that make up the soil of the seguin property has been known since the 19th century. here merlot and cabernet sauvignon assembled in equal parts find their noblest expressions. smokey and resined notes, a deep and rich mouth-feel underlines its part in the best "pessac." the expression of fruit and preservation of the characteristics of this soil guides all of our practices from the maintenance of the grounds (without chemical weedkiller) to the bottling process.
