Tastes similar to Sailor Jerry and a lot smoother for less than half the price. This will be default rum of choice for the remainder of time that I have in the army.

I drink rum straight on ice, so I prefer something smooth. I've typically purchased Capt Morgan private stock or better to satisfy my taste, but grabbed this bottle one day to try it out. I was extremely surprised, and at first thought it was watered down because it was so smooth. After a hour I felt the buzz and knew it was legit. I'll purchase this from now on... it's less than half the price of equivalent rums on bases and equally good (better than several others).

If you like Capt Morgan’s Spiced Rum, then this rum is for you. Pour them side by side and you’ll have trouble telling them apart!
