the maison blanche castle belongs to the family bouey who took over in 1998 with strong aspirations. located in the north of medoc, near the gironde estuary, this "cru bourgeois" shows delicacy, concentration and a fruity characteristic. for continuity in the vineyard and during vinification, patrick bouey relies on the talents of stephane derenoncourt. as mentioned by the financial times, "many are those that see in him the most sensible winemaker in bordeaux."
