the name "wheat whale ale" is used because an area near us (north idaho) grows wheat . before harvest when the wheat is nice and long some people think the wind blowing the wheat looks similar to whales jumping in the ocean. i added "ale" by itself on the label, like i did on my previous "wheat whale ale" that was approved.
