cavas valmar is a small winery established in ensenada, b.c. in 1983. founded by the valentin and martain families, it is noted for experimenting with winemaking possibilities of the region.
this cabernet sauvignon was made from grapes harvested in the san vicente and guadalupe valleys with classic bourdeux fermentation and aging in barrels of french oak. it has a deep pomegranate color, fruity, of great body, equilibrium and balance. suggested to be combined with spicy red meats and rich flavored dishes.
