I am not at all an expert on sake. This came on a sampler of five sakes at a terrific sushi restaurant in Superior, CO (Sushi Yoshi), and it stood out clearly from the others. We liked it so much that we ordered an entire bottle of it. It definitely had a two phase effect on my tongue, and the change from the initial flavor to the second was most enjoyable. A very mellow sake, even with the startling transition.
