the name "strom hammer" was used basically because it sounded cool. i learned how to brew from a brewer with the last name stromberg and he helped me with this ipa recipe. "hammer" is not used to represent the strengh of the beer but to represent the style of beer. an ipa is bitter and is not the usual beer drank by most americans. the hammer represents the "boldness" of that style. please let us use the hammer as our graphic, it's our 2nd most popular beer and we spent a lot of money on the name and design. if we have to change it, does that mean we also have to change the name? i know other breweries like mcmenamins have a "hammer head ale" and their graphic is a hammer. just let us know how we can use the hammer, thanks for your time.
