a mosaic of a sand and gravel mixture with fine and variegated clays, the excellent soil of château seguin was recognized during the 19th century. the merlot and the cabernet sauvignon grapes are assembled into equal parts of the blend and their quality is found here as one of their nobler expressions. notes of smoke and resin are typical of the region of pessac léognan. the quality of the fruit and the safeguarding of the vineyard and the soil where no chemical weed control is used is typical of this property as all proper maintenance of is practiced from harvest to the bottling.*****on the brand label is misa's logo, and the text says misa imports, inc.*****
