kegs are permanently engraved with: "net contents 15.5 u.s. gallons - 58 2/3 liters alaskan brewing & bottling co. juneau, alaska, award winning beers" (or other vol. as appropriate, "5 u.s. gallons" "5.16 u.s. gallons"), plus required health warning: government warning: (1) according to the surgeon general, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems." also engraved with: "warning: this container will rupture if pressurized above 60 p.s.i. use only tapping equipment and pressure regulator each equipped with a pressure release valve."
