mixing a glass of sweet sparkling and dry white wine. this blend was named medio medio by its inventor don alvarez "el gallego" around 1920 in the bar "roldo's" at the heart of the mercado del puerto section of the city of montevideo, in uruguay.
since 1898
born around the year 1920 in a place known by locals as the "mercado del puerto". this wine is very aromatic, with a fruity taste that is highlighted by its carbonated gas and its enjoyable effervescent taste. it is ideal to accompany celebrations, it has become uruguay"s classic toast.
