rosato della ferriera is produced through a white vinification of syrah and cabernet grape varieties, cultivated in the vineyard area of atina, a village situated between the apennine chain of the abruzzo national park and those of the southern ciociaria mountains. the "cru" of these area benefits from a foothill microclimate with ideal climatic conditions of temperature, sunlight and availability of water. the grapes obtained by a selected winnowing, their perfect maturation and the fermentation without skins confer richness of aromas and delicate flavors characteristic of a decidedly unique "terroir". the wine is characterized by a good olfactory impact and a subtle color, floral notes with aromas of mediterranean fruits and vegetables, making the wine well balanced. served as a meal wine or starter wine, it can be matched with shellfish and tenacious pulp fishes, and with fresh dishes of traditional food containing pasta, white meats, and delicate cheeses
