this wine results from the excellent combination of the grape varieties touriga nacional, alfrocheiro, tinta roriz and jaen from quinta das estrémuas, situated in nelas on the center of the dão wine region. it was aged in french and american oak barrels during 9 months. with a strong ruby colour, presents an elegant aroma, with notes of cherry and spices. on the palate is intense and velvety with a good tannin structure from the grape varieties and the oak, which will permit a magnificent evolution in the bottle. should be served at 18ºc and accompany regional dishes.
