it has been argued by many that the most important tool in any expedition, exploration or campaign was the ration, a small portion of spirit doled out daily. it is in this spirit of adventure and tradition that we at maine craft distilling offer what we call an expedition style rum. it is run in small batches in copper pot stills and matured in white oak barrels like its traveling ancestors.
