malbec, like all thoroughbreds, is fragile, susceptible to frost, humidity and excessive yields. it produces its best only in poor soils, with low yields, under a micro climate rather dry and hot. the hills of lot department, in france, remain its favorite soil.

malbec finds in our land its favourite soil. we have gained an experience without equal in this variety of wine, which is out of the ordinary, cultivated for more than 2000 years within our french south-west. pigmentum enlarges its malbec range with its pigmentum rosé because, if the grape"s film is very rich in colouring matter, the free-run juice stays enough clear to give an alternative to traditionally recognized red wines. rosé with carmine reflects, with a nice natural freshness, pigmentum malbec will surprise lovers of good wine by its character.
