1.5 liters; 3 liters; 750 milliliters
this wine is obtained from our grapes:

15% sagrantino
25% montepulciano dâ"abruzzo
that are cultivated in our pipparello vineyard located in the heart of the appellation of montefalco in umbria.
the 2003 vintage was an arid year but of generous quality.
the fermentation-maceration lasted 42 days. the wine then was aged for 20 months in large stainless steel containers and then was aged further in large oak barrels for another 24 months.
each step in the making of this wine is made with respect for natureâ"s cycle.
drink this wine with red meats and other savory dishes. it is best drunk when at 18 to 20 degrees centigrade and when opened two hours in advance.
use care when pouring this wine since no stabilization processes have been used and as a result a natural sediment may form which is a sign that this wine is alive.
this vintage was harvested on the 3rd of september and a total of 6,666 bottles were made.â"
side: out of reciprocal respect for the trade, we do not give or send samples of our wines to wine publications or journalists.
