- weather: a dry moderate summer.
- grapes: 100% sagrantino, grown using minimal intervention in the optimally situated cerrete vineyard.
- maceration : 45 days with skin and pips.
- process : harvested by hand, without the addition of sulphites, yeasts or other additives. the wine spends 12 months in stainless steel followed by 43 months in large wooden barrels. sulphites are used sparingly, and only to preserve the wineâ"s expression of terroir.
