"simeonidis winery" (on both the brand and back labels) is the name of the company and based on the producer's last name (simeonidis). the monogram above it (sw) is the initials of the winery's name. the code / number under the barcode, on the back label, contains two greek letters (pie and alpha). those are linked to the appellation and the code is provided by the ministry of agriculture of greece, so the code varies each year.
"protected geographical indication" wording is a requirement for the appellation statement for all exported greek wines by the greek government.
