cinco is spanish for the number five and is used to celebrate cinco de mayo, a regional holiday in mexico, and in recognition of cinco being del norte brewing co.'s fifth beer. luminaria is spanish for luminary. a luminaria is a light or little lantern, usually a candle inside a paper lamp shade. in the southwestern u.s. these are often arranged in rows to create displays at christmas. orale is a spanish expression best translated as "right on!" it is a positive affirmation, without negative connotations. manana is spanish for "tomorrow." no spices or flavorings are added to any of the beers on the label. cinco is referred to as a tropical lager, a style defined by the north american brewers association as a beer that is very light in color; light bodied; having very low levels of hop bitterness, aroma and flavor; possibly evidencing low concentrations of corn; and having high carbonation levels.
