tuica sometimes spelled tzuika, tsuika, tsuica, or tzuica for english speaking public, is a traditional romanian alcoholic beverage, usually made from plums. slivovitz as defined in bam chapter 4 is the serbian translation of tuica. however, a more accurate translation is that Ţuică is fruit brandy as defined by the class definition found in bam, chapter 4 class and type designation.
