depuis plus de cinq siecles, dans un petit clos a lerne, village proche de chinon, se trouve une vigne tout a fait exceptionnelle. alors qu'au xix eme siecle le phylloxera detruisait l'ensemble du vignoble francais, ce clos fut epargne. nous avons donc ici l'un des tres rare temoignage de ce que le vin fut a l'epoque ou francois rabelais en appreciait tant les vertus = situated in a small clos in lerne, a village near chinon, is a five-century-old exceptional vineyard. spared by the phylloxera epidemic that took place in the 19th century and that destroyed all the vineyards in france, this is one of the rare testaments to what wine was at the time that francois rabelais appreciated its qualities.
