fruit d'un terroir d'exon, le petit mouton de mouton rothschild provient des vignes les plus jeunes de ce celebre premier cru classe. il est recolte, vinifie et mis en bouteilles avec les memes soins minutieux: vendanges en cagettes, fermentation dans le legendaire cuvier en chene de mouton, elevage en barriques selon les methodes traditionnelles. tout est donc reuni pour que l'amateur decouvre ici l'elegance et la richesse d'un grand pauillac. afin de rendre hommage a la qualite de ce vin, la baronne philippine de rothschild a choisi une etiquette inspiree d'un dessin du fameux affichiste jean carlu. ce dessin, puissamment colore, associe la sensualite des formes au geometrisme epure du stye "arts deco". il fut realise en 1927,a la suite de celui que l'artiste avait concu a la meme epoque pour chateau mouton rothscild.
