translation of french text on back label:
this small vineyard of 7 hectares is planted with the traditional varieties of bordeaux that are 30 years old: 80% merlot - 20% cabernet franc. all the care is taken with knowledge that is traditional and thoughtful: leaf thinning, green harvesting, and harvested at full maturity, parcel by parcel, in crates of grapes selected by double-sorting by hand and vinified in temperature controlled vats. chateau le bon pasteur is aged in french oak barrels. this wine from the rolland family estate is powerful with a nice fruity finish.
