"la vache folle" means "the mad cow" in french. lactose is just milk sugar. on the back label on the bottom right the og means "original gravity" and refers to the initial sugar content of the beer before fermentation. the "aa" means "apparent attenuation" and refers to the attenuation of the yeast.
