Pauillac

France

2007

750 milliliters

red bordeaux wine
the rose pauillac was born in 1933 by 30 vineyard owners who came together to make a great pauillac wine. over time, the estate grew to 60 hectares (148 acres).
the blending is cabernet and merlot and the vines are often very old and dense. the result is strong wines with structure and tannins which can age several years.
the bois de rose bottling is aged 18 months in french oak barrels all the while respecting the fruity notes of the wine.
the 2007 vintage presents a ruby color, a lovely fleshy character on the palette and has spicy and cinnamon notes, black licorice and berry fruits.
serve between 17 and 18 degrees c (62 and 64 degrees f) and marries well with red meats and ages cheeses.
