au xiv siècle, les bonres biéres étaient appéles goudale, goudalle ou encore good ale. elles se rendaient 2 deriers le pot, chez ur marchard nouné le gorudalier. de cette riche tradition, les brasseurs de gayant ont conserve ur savoir-faire et ur nom qui sont a eux seuls toute une histoire = in the xiv th century good beers were used to being called in old french "goudale", "goudalle" or "good ale". they were sold 2 deniers per pot at a merchant called "the goudalier". les brasseurs de gayant kept up the know-how and the name from this time.
