on the front label, in italian: il nostro cuore, le nostre meravigliose colline, ci impogono un rigore estremo nella gestione delle vigne. our heart, our marvelous hills, impose an extreme severity on the management of the vines. l'erta sangiovese, prodotto solo nelle annate migliori, ne e' l'espressione piu'pura. l'erta sangiovese, produced only in the best years, is the most pure expression. viene fatto maturare in legno ed e' imbottigliato senza essere sottoposto a filtrazione. it is aged in wood, and is bottled without filtration.
