jaros is a wine from el quiñon estate. its name comes from the natural enviroment that surrounds the vineyards, made of centenary evergreen oaks, juniper forestsand low bushes. it expresses a selection of different sectors in our estate planted with tempranillo (locally tinto fino) variety with some support of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. the estate has 108 hectares, mainly south oriented and with steep undulations. its soils are chalky and stony and were created as the banks of the duero river millions of years ago.
