"highland's fine ruby" is a fanciful name...not a varietal...why would this suddenly be a problem? i'm not trying to be difficult. this is the seventh time this label has been submitted, and we are so close. please help...is there someone who i can call to explain this to me?
as far as i know this is the list of" "traditional expressions" that the u.s. will be able to use on wine sold in the eu - the terms are: chateau, classic, clos, cream, crusted/crusting, fine, late bottled vintage, noble, ruby, superior, sur lie, tawny, vintage and vintage character."
this is according to the ttb - http://www.ttb.gov/wine/itd_qas.shtml
