la ferriera 2007 forgiato atina doc red wine the history of the "cabernet di atina" dates back to 1860, when the cabernet and syrah grape varieties were first introduced to this typical foothill microclimate area. ever since then, from generation to generation, the same grape blends and the same love we produce a wine of ntenise ruby-red color, characterized by a polyphenolic richness, and a good olfactory impact. notes of red berries and herbaceous aromas make the wine well balanced as the expression of a unique "terroir." the maturing on the lees and the refinement in oak casks finally gives the characteristic flavor and maturation.
